This unused package of Party Pets decorations is one of our favorite vintage finds of all time. It’s an instant party! Well, not really. First you have to assemble all of the paper pieces enclosed…so almost instant!. Here’s what the packaging says is contained “This gay party package contains eighteen brightly colored party items, colored ribbon and elastic cord to make six Gift-Carry-Homes, six Caper Caps and six Candy Cabanas.” Don’t you just love that description? I mean, who wouldn’t want a Candy Cabana?

The illustrations of bunnies, kittens & puppies (each in boy & girl variations) are absolutely amazing! If you look very closely at the picture above, you can see that each animal “Gift-Carry-Home” comes in a full face & and side view version.
We have refrained from putting this entire set together. Believe me, it’s been hard, but we did assemble one hat from the package. It’s our official birthday hat here at the studio!
