how about just because…

If you’ve ever received a card in the mail unexpectedly, you know how great it makes you feel. It just puts a big smile on your face! It’s not your birthday, it’s not a holiday….it was sent to you “just because”. We feel like that is one of the best reasons of all to send a card.

There have been many times that I’ve found a card at a shop that just jumps out as perfect for a particular person I know. That’s a “just because” card. I’ve sent a card to a friend merely because of a small thing said in conversation the day before that has stuck with me. That too, is a “just because” card.

Today, we’ve introduced our new collection of cards (we gave you a sneak peak a couple of weeks ago) that are not birthday cards, nor anniversary or for baby, they are just a group of cards meant to put a smile on the faces of the people who receive them. For no particular occasion at all, they are to be given just because…

We realize this idea might be a little outside the norm for some. To help you get into this idea, we’ve come up with a plan! Heidi & I have deemed Friday, February 26th as “Just Because Day”. Now, we really want to you to join in. Think of people you like and love in your life and send them something in the mail. They don’t need to know about our made up holiday….in fact it’s better that we keep that a secret from them. The idea is that you’ve sent the card for no particular reason, except that you were thinking of them.

Please join us: dig into your card stash, pick up a postcard at the corner, make something crafty or go on a little card shopping spree at your favorite store….let’s have fun together and as a result, send out some smiles.
