Greetings from the Big Apple! Heidi & I have been in New York for 6 full days and it’s hard to believe that the NY Gift Fair is already coming to a close tomorrow. It went so fast! As always, we’ve had a great time and enjoyed seeing friends old and new. Last night, we were thrilled to be dusted with a light sprinkling of snow as we headed home from a nightcap in the Lower East Side. Cars, railings, trees and even the piles of trash bags sitting at he curb looked magical with their powdered sugar dusting of snowflakes. The snow was still hanging around this morning when we were walking to the convention center, for work making these two California girls happy!
We’ve been having way too much fun playing around with a new iphone camera app called Hipstamatic (used to take the 2 snowy pictures of us below). The interface is really cool and makes the screen of the iphone look like an old fashioned camera. Lens, film type and effects can all be mixed and matched to create different effects. So cool!
Next week when we are back in the studio, we’ll post more detailed photos of our booth display at the show. We’re really happy with the way things turned out and can’t wait to share it with you!

What a coincidence - I just got the Hipstamatic app last week and can’t stop playing with it! I’ve been using the Ina’s 1969 film and I love it!

I can’t stop playing with it either. So many combinations, so much fun! After NY we spent 4 days in the Poconos with some friends and I was Hipstamatic-crazy!
